Do you have some older Apple products, like an iPad, iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch that you no longer use? If so, you can send them to Apple and get either a credit towards a future purchase or an Apple Gift Card. When I learned this recently, it was news to me. For years, Apple has allowed you to trade-in your older Mac, or older iPad when you purchase a new Mac, iPhone or iPad, but I wasn’t aware that they had expanded this program.
Now, you can send any used Apple product back to Apple, including things such as AirPods, AirPorts, displays and printers. If the item still has monetary value then Apple will give you an Apple Gift Card or store credit towards a future product purchase. The items that have monetary value are some Macs, iPads, iPhones and Apple Watches. If the item has no monetary value then Apple will simply recycle it for you. They will send you a pre-paid shipping label or let you drop the product off at a participating FedEx Office location for free. Of course, if you live in the Seattle area there are many local electonics recyclers to chose from.
