Do you ever need to rent a meeting room in Seattle? Many of my clients run home-based businesses and they sometimes need to rent a room where they can conduct trainings, interviews or depositions. Here’s a list of some organizations which rent rooms in the Seattle area. While I try to list a few highlights, these facilities vary widely in size, price, hours of availability, amount of parking, etc. Please contact each organization to get specific details.

Phinney Ridge
The Phinney Neighborhood Association operates four buildings that contain a wide variety of rooms that could accommodate a mere handful or many dozen. All rooms have wireless Internet access.
WorksProgress, a co-working space on north 85th St has two meeting rooms and a classroom. Internet and other amenities are included. They can be rented by both members and non-members between 8 AM – 6 PM. Rentals after 6 PM cost more and have a 2 hour minimum.
Ballard
A free meeting space for local organizations or events is offered by Captain’s Nautical Supplies, located at 1120 NW Ballard Way. The Captain’s Classroom accommodates 10-50 people. The room comes with chairs, a whiteboard and Internet connection.
Capitol Hill
Office Nomads is a coworking community. They offer a range of memberships that include workspace, private meeting rooms, coffee, Internet access and printers.
Lower Queen Anne
Atlas Workbase is a cowering space with flexible offerings including a day pass, quater-time, half-time or full-time. They offer a variety of reserved workspaces as well as board rooms, casual conference room and configurable meeting spaces. The various meeting rooms can be rented by the hour. Parking is free.

All Over Seattle and Bellevue
The Seattle Public Library offers free meeting rooms in many of their branches. The rooms can be reserved up to 3 months in advance. The meetings need to be open to the public. No attendance fee can be collected and no merchandise sold there.
Regus offers conference rooms, virtual offices and executive suites in the greater Seattle area and in many other states. Rooms can be rented by the hour, half day or full day.
The Seattle Collaborative Space Alliance has shared office spaces all over town including The Pioneer Collective in Pioneer Square, Vybe on Eastlake, thinkspace in Fremont and many others.
